You may notice that today I was able to add an image to my post, but you see, the thing is I never know when I may or may not be able to add one and this frustrates me more than I’d like to admit. For me, blogging is about using words and images to express myself and since the new dashboards went in I never know what is going to happen when I go to mine. I have changed the design of my blog a couple times because I thought (stupidly probably) that this would make adding images easier, but it works for a while and then just quits.
I was so happy to find WordPress because the ability to blog to my hearts content was made simple and easy, I didn’t have to know anything much about adding images or video and I could do what I wanted and have fun. So I would awake everyday, well most days and find stuff I wanted to talk about and put in a picture or many pictures I had found and then blog on, but that just ain’t happening now and so I am wondering WTF is going on? I have written to support twice, but have never gotten a response of any kind and I have described my situations as this:
When I click on add an image, a box opens up and actually downloads the photo I have stored, but when I click to add it to the post a blank box opens and never closes. With regard to videos I simply cannot add them even though I have the blue W in the upper right corner of my firefox browser. According to the download box, which also doesn’t always work I do have free space left (100 gb?) so that doesn’t seem to be the problem, and I would have no trouble buying an upgrade if I could be assured that it would be money well spent, however I won’t do it, if it still doesn’t work because if I pay and still can not get help from “the support team” I’ll feel like I’ve been ripped off. Does that make sense? Can anyone diagnose this problem and assist me with resolving it?
Now some questions for other Word Press bloggers?
- Do you have paid subscriptions to this service and if so are you able speak to someone in support or is it all via email?
- If you have a paid subscription does support respond to your requests for assistance?
- Did you buy a space upgrade and did it help?
- How would you recommend that I get a response to my request for assistance with a free account?
- How many of you have a paid subscription?
See I am wondering if perhaps I would get more help if the service wasn’t free, but maybe I am wrong. So any advice you could give me would be greatly appreciated!
